Had a great Valentines
Night as a guest speaker at the
Powerhouse Kids Club run by the Elim Christian Centre in
Mountain Ash (South Wales.)
I love to visit the church - God has really moved there
in recent years and the Pastor Glesni Cunningham
has great vision and has been really blessed in
her ministry.
I remember speaking there on a Sunday Evening a year ago
and as I travelled up from home I asked God to give me
something to say to the church. I had prepared my message
but I felt that God had a message for them. He did and
it was so simple, He said,' Tell them I am so
pleased with what is happening in the church.'
The Friday night Powerhouse for the children is held in
a leased hall away from the main church because of
the size of the group.
Each week 70 - 100 children
come from all over the area
(some bused in)
and are looked after by the
Powerhouse Team
led by Granville and Martin who have a
great heart for seeing children won for the Lord.
It was a real joy to go along there and share with the children
about real love on Valentine's Day. To tell them about
someone who loves them 24/7 - 365 days of the
year - JESUS. We really had some fun!!
Some of the children had been to the Grand Theatre and to
see me in Pantomime.
There were about 70 children there this evening and it really
touched my heart to see them praising God and shout out
the name of the Lord Jesus.
Please pray for Granville, Martin and the Powerhouse team
and for Pastor Glesni as they reach the families of Mountain Ash.

I've
just had a great morning at Mount Pleasant
Congregational Church in Grovesend near Swansea.
Grovesend was once nicknamed 'Church City' by
the locals because of the number of churches
in the village. Grovesend is about two miles from Loughor,
so is very much in the heart of the area that
witnessed the birth of the Welsh Revival in 1904.
The Church was holding a very special service this
morning - I was asked to convene the service
and speak at the end. Most of the service - the worship,
prayers readings and song would be lead by the children
and young people.
It was a real blessing! I was particularly blessed by the
singing of a trio of boys aged 11 - 13 who sang the
old song, 'This is the Day'. They brought new life to an old
song! It was like a meeting in the Early Church as some
brought a
song, others a
prayer, some brought a reading.
There were about 50 in the service which included a number
of parents who had only come along to support their children.
It was a real honour to share the gospel with them all at the end of
the service -
I was very excited driving home after the service. Praise God!!!!!!!
Please pray for Mount Pleasant Church in Grovesend.
They are doing a fantastic job in their community and
will see a breakthrough.
